We are available to help select an appropriate housing option while learning at Metropolitan Community College. Should you require housing support, please inquire at the front reception or contact our student support team by email to admin@metropolitancollege.ca.
Please be advised that our student support staff provides free assistance to our prospective and current students only. Students should seek separate legal advice if needed.
Off-campus Housing Options
Homestay
Canada is known around the world as a strong and free country. Staying with a Canadian family is an enriching cultural experience and an important part of a student's life. Homestay is best suited to students who want affordable housing and meal package with the opportunity to learn Canadian culture. Students will be introduced and placed with carefully screened host families who treat students as their own son or daughter. Homestay price varies from time to time, however, our student support staff works closely with both students and host families to ensure a good match.
Student Residences
Students may choose to rent student residences operated by third-party. The student residences are modern, fully furnished accommodations designed with comfort, safety and convenience in mind, ensuring a seamless and supportive living experience throughout your studies in Canada. There are various options offered by GEC (https://gecliving.com/). The student residences are considered an upscale and worry-free premium choice for students.
Apartment Rental
Students with good communication skills may want to rent an apartment on their own or share with others. Rental information, availability, and requirements vary depending on different landlords. We usually do not encourage new students to rent an apartment directly. However, if you would like to rent an apartment, feel free to discuss with our student support staff and we will try our best to help you out.
