Human Resources Administrator, Full-Time

Metropolitan Community College has been developing and implementing new programs.  Our growing team is currently seeking another colleague as a full-time Human Resource Administrator with an energetic individual to perform the following responsibilities:

​

1. Plan, organize, control and evaluate the human resources operations in the college

2. Analyze and plan human resource requirements within the organization

3. Monitor and manage internal training and recruitment activities

4. Develop and maintain good labour relations of employees and contractors

5. Implement programs or procedures to motivate positive working attitude

6. Co-ordinate with finance officer, ensure labour compensation is satisfied

7. Ensure safety compliance standard within the establishment

8. Oversee the potential need of labour based on operations

9. Make sure all employee records are up-to-date

10. Conduct employee interview, employee performance review and analyze results

11. Periodically set goals for certain employees with given performance measure

12. Assist the Campus Director with other human resource related tasks as directed

The successful candidate should demonstrate proven capability of the above responsibilities with the following minimum requirements:

 

Minimum Education Requirement:

 

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Policy Management, HR Management, or related.

 

Minimum Experience Requirement:

 

At least 6 years of DIRECT experience in Human Resource with at least 3 years in a managerial position. Experience with accounting is an asset but is not required.

Front Office Administrative Assistant, Full-Time

Metropolitan Community College has been developing and implementing new programs.  Our growing team is currently seeking another colleague as a full-time Front Office Administrative Assistant with an energetic individual to perform the following responsibilities:

 

1. Prepare, enter, edit, and proofread outgoing messages such as mail/email correspondences, invoices, receipts, brochures and posted materials

2. Open and review incoming mails/emails to ensure proper distribution of the incoming messages

3. Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings

4. Keep track of office supplies and replenish when needed

5. Answer telephone, email and online-chat enquiries

6. Ensure proper maintenance of a professional office environment

7. Co-ordinate and assist with other colleagues including management and teaching staffs to ensure office filing system (including computer filing system) is properly followed

8. Proactively greet visitors and make appropriate arrangement of visitor requests

9. Prepare and distribute meeting materials, including agenda and meeting minutes

10. Arrange travel schedules and make reservations if directed

11. May be asked to travel and attend seminars and exhibitions occasionally

The successful candidate should demonstrate proven capability of the above responsibilities with the following minimum requirements:

 

Minimum Education Requirement:

 

College Diploma, knowledge of accounting and/or graphic design is an asset.  Must have a good command of English. 

 

Minimum Experience Requirement:

 

Some office administrative experience preferred.  Experience with accounting and/or graphic design is an asset.
